Random Photo XXX: In flight

I stopped by the side of the road in one of the many suburban wetland ponds to get some pictures of a Great Blue Heron during one of the few sunny day's we've had this spring.

    It's difficult to get those when you just pull over like that but sometimes fate and/or nature smiles on you.

    Thanks for the comment. I contemplated a tighter crop, but I like to give the subjects "breathing room" in compositions. And I really like the reflection of the heron on the pond.
