Random photo

I shot this pic of our house last week after one of the many rainy nights.

UPDATE: Based on advice from the photographically gifted Gnade, I've adjusted the contrast a little. I think it's an improvement.

UPDATE 2: The aforementioned Bill Gnade graciously sent over his interpretation, converting to black and white and really capturing the highlights of the water droplets. Thanks again, Bill!

  3. Just returned to KC. I'm sure calls have already been made to my neighborhood homes association about the length of my grass, but I can't mow the darn thing until it stops raining.

  4. Emaw,

    Very nice photo.

How would it look if you upped the contrast?

  6. emaw,

It's such a great image. Thanks for letting me tweak it.

In case you are wondering, I increased the contrast, darkened the corners, and tried to maintain the same highlight tones/densities all the way up into the infinite corner (upper left). I also dodged many of the droplets and burned between them.

Seriously, there are people who would pay for that picture.

    Peace,

    BG
